We are looking for talented java fullstack engineers with some cloud experience to:

• support S/W Development activities
• provide expert advice and SME knowledge to key stakeholders
• maintain consistency and comply with UBS standards
• should be able to work independently, have good communication skills, and should have experience in a challenging environment.
• ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements

Your team

You will be working in the Wealth Management Taiwan crew. We power the world\'s leading wealth manager with technology that makes a difference for our clients and colleagues in Asia Pacific (APAC). Your team will be based in Pune, India and will partner with a wider team based across locations in APAC (Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan). You will be an individual contributor as part of an Agile Pod that owns the functionality and operations of the applications that you are accountable for.

Your expertise

• 5+ years of experience
• solid programming skills in Java (EE)
• knowledge of frameworks like Spring Framework
• knowledge of virtualization and containerization
• kubernetes and Cloud experience (preferred- MS Azure)
• know-how of CI/CD pipeline integration tools (e.g., gitlab, azure devops, maven, ansible)
• knowledge of microservice architecture and experience on messaging related technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMq and/or JMS
• experience in RDBMS such as MS SQL, Postgres or Oracle
• good understanding and hands-on deployment experience in modern development tools and technologies (e.g., Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Web Services (REST / SOAP), Swagger, javascirpt, React, Kafka with streaming API, GitLab, ORM and database technologies, Azure Cloud technologies, test driven, automated testing, DevOps)
• produce secure and clean code that is stable, operational, consistent, and well-performing (SOLID principles, Clean Code, Design Patterns)

Wealth management domain experience in one or more of the following areas would be highly desirable

• Trade life cycle management - including order capture, pre-trade & post-trade validations, execution, settlement processes
• Client Advisor/ Client facing advisory processes
• Client reporting / Digital touch point
