About the Role
Job Responsibilities



Application Developer develops Java/React JS code for intermediate modules, participates in design reviews, conducts code reviews, creates test plans and resolves moderate defects. The Developer designs, documents, reviews, and maintains components of software solutions for intermediate projects. It also includes reacting to production problems of supporting production changes where those applications are operating.

Strong understanding of Java and FSD- Java development concepts

4- 6year of experience

Knowledge of the Insurance business is a plus

Highly motivated with good written and oral communication skills.

Ability to lead conversations and coordinate activities across various time zones.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and assignments, ability to work well underpressure, as well as ability to work independently.

Ability to be accountable for key processes of high complexity, high risk, and high visibility.

Ability to learn new skills quickly and willingness to challenge yourself

Advanced SQL skills (individuals need to have solid SQL debugging and tuning skills)

Overall experience of 4- 6 years of software development

At least 4 years of experience as a Java FSD development

At least 1 year as a full stack developer with Java

Wide experience with a diverse set of technologies, approaches, tools, etc. would beideal.

Good knowledge of Java programming, SQL, Unix

Exposure and knowledge to Agile methodologies

Experience in Java development and web front-end development.

Experience deploying to cloud environments a plus

Exposure to test-driven development

Strong communication skills

Passion for growing your skills, tackling interesting work and solving challenging problems

Enthusiasm for community, learning, and collaboration

Excitement about open source software
