Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Full-Stack Developer

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-quality applications, ensuring seamless integration between backend microservices and modern frontend interfaces. The role requires close collaboration with product owners, UX/design teams, QA, DevOps, and technical leads in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse functional and technical requirements to design end-to-end software solutions (backend and frontend). Develop, test, and deploy backend services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot. Build responsive and efficient frontend applications using React and manage state with Redux or equivalent libraries. Integrate backend APIs with frontend components ensuring performance, security, and reliability. Work with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and possibly GraphQL for service-to-service communication. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, including unit and integration tests. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, design discussions, and code reviews. Utilize Git version control, CI/CD processes, and automated build/deployment pipelines. Mentor junior developers and promote coding standards, best practices, and consistency across the team. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across backend and frontend applications, including performance tuning and debugging.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+), Spring, and Spring Boot. Experience with JPA/Hibernate and relational databases (SQL). Knowledge of microservices architecture, REST API design, API gateways, and service-oriented design. Understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and dependency injection. Experience with debugging techniques, memory/heap/thread analysis, and performance tuning. Familiarity with Git branching strategies, build tools, and code review practices.

Frontend (React/Redux)

Strong experience with React.js, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and component-based architecture. Deep understanding of Redux or similar state management tools, including middleware and side-effect handling. Experience with frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel), performance optimisation, and code-splitting. Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and UI libraries such as Material UI, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS. Familiarity with browser debugging, rendering performance, and optimisation techniques.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for backend/frontend deployments. Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools. Experience working in high-volume, low-latency environments. Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, or event-driven architectures. Exposure to micro frontends, server-side rendering (e.g., Next.js), accessibility standards, and automated UI testing (Jest, Cypress). Strong communication skills with experience working in distributed teams. Agile mindset with experience in Scrum or Kanban environments.
