Role: Java Developer (Socket Programming)
Experience: 5+ years
Location: Kanjurmarg, Mumbai
Work Mode: 6 Days WFO

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with expertise in Spring/Spring Boot and Socket Programming to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems, real-time communication services, and network-driven applications.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java (Java 8+/17+ preferred).
• Build and optimize services using Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, etc.).
• Implement socket-based communication (TCP/UDP/WebSockets) for real-time systems.
• Develop efficient, low-latency network modules and handle concurrency/multithreading.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and work with microservices architecture.
• Ensure application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to ensure smooth CI/CD and test coverage.
• Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to networking, performance, or application logic.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java (Core Java, Collections, Concurrency).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot/Spring Framework.
• Solid understanding of Socket Programming (TCP/IP, UDP, WebSocket).
• Experience with multithreading, asynchronous programming, and concurrency controls.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and web protocols.
• Experience with relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases.
• Good understanding of networking concepts like latency, packet handling, and connection management.
• Knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
