We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead to take ownership of a mature brownfield platform and lead its transformation into a modern, cloud-native architecture. The role involves major refactoring, architectural redesign, and guiding the team toward a production-first, container-driven development culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead large-scale refactoring of legacy monolithic systems into clean, distributed architecture.
Normalize database schemas, improve performance, and eliminate technical debt.
Collaborate with the Chief Architect on the architectural roadmap and scalability plans.
Implement high-throughput, low-latency design, distributed caching, and locking mechanisms.
Drive clean code practices, SOLID principles, testing standards, and cloud-native development.
Mentor the team on containerization, observability, and Kubernetes best practices.
Design asynchronous REST APIs and troubleshoot complex distributed production issues.
Requirements:
8+ years of hands-on experience in modern Java development.
Strong knowledge of SOLID, clean architecture, refactoring, and anti-pattern resolution.
Expertise in relational & non-relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) with strong skills in schema normalization and optimization.
Experience with distributed systems: Redis locks, event sourcing, SAGA patterns, distributed logging, and caching.
Solid DevOps & cloud skills with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud platform deployment.
Nice to Have:
AWS knowledge.
Python backend development experience.
Experience with Terraform and Linux environments.
