Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced

Senior Backend Developer

with a strong background in developing microservices using

Spring Boot

and hands-on experience with

AWS serverless technologies

. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, serverless workflows using

AWS Step Functions

, and be comfortable working with various AWS services like

API Gateway, Lambda (Python), RDS

, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure

Microservices using Spring Boot

. Build and orchestrate

Serverless Workflows

using

AWS Step Functions

. Develop, integrate, and manage AWS services including

API Gateway, Lambda (Python), and RDS

. Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services for high-availability systems. Ensure solutions are compliant with

AWS architecture best practices

. Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments. Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high code quality. Write technical documentation and maintain architectural diagrams. Mentor junior developers and contribute to architecture discussions.

Required Skills and Experience:

10+ years

of professional software development experience. Extensive experience with

Spring Boot

and

Java

for backend microservice development. Hands-on experience building

serverless applications on AWS

. Strong knowledge of

AWS Lambda (Python), API Gateway, Step Functions, RDS, S3, CloudWatch

. Deep understanding of

AWS core services

and

cloud-native architecture

. Experience in

REST API design

, integration, and security best practices. Familiarity with

CI/CD tools

(e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline). Strong grasp of

software engineering principles

, design patterns, and best practices. Experience with

monitoring, logging

, and

troubleshooting distributed systems

.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Certification (e.g.,

AWS Certified Solutions Architect

, Developer - Associate/Professional). Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like

Terraform or AWS CloudFormation

. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Exposure to containerization technologies such as

Docker and Kubernetes
