Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

Java Developer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building scalable applications, working with microservices, and deploying solutions on cloud-native environments.

This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges while driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain

high-performance, scalable, and secure applications

using Java 8+ and Spring Boot. Build and optimize

RESTful APIs and microservices

. Work on

data persistence layers

using Hibernate/JPA with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. Develop event-driven applications leveraging

Kafka and GCP Pub/Sub

. Deploy, manage, and monitor services on

Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)

. Ensure best practices in

code quality, testing, and CI/CD pipelines

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver innovative solutions. Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.

Must-Have Skills

Java 8+

, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA RESTful API development and Microservices architecture Messaging systems:

Kafka, GCP Pub/Sub

Hands-on experience with

GCP services

and

GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)

Proficiency with relational databases:

MySQL or PostgreSQL

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Experience working in an

Agile/Scrum environment

Good-to-Have Skills

Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.) Familiarity with containerization using Docker Cloud certifications (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
