About Business Line
Cash is one of the key asset classes after Equity, Fixed income and Multi asset classes. Cash Views application is used for Cash asset related pre trade activities. It includes several application modules used by Global Cash Portfolio Management, Credit Risk, and Cash Operations users to study and report on their portfolios in State Street Investment Management. Application function includes portfolio construction tools, repo settlement and reporting tools, repo collateral management, cash forecasting, credit risk oversight and research, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities & Experience Range
The ideal candidate will be:As senior Java developer in the backend service development of the application. Design, Development and Release the Java middleware components. Writing Restful services, DAO components, Business rules, integration to inbound and outbound systems Migrate legacy Struts application to Spring boot application Handle the middleware component deployments in Cloud Linux environment Review and support peer deliverables. Provide technical support in analyzing production issues L3/L4 to ensure the uninterrupted services to the business. Effective collaboration with the Boston, Business counterparts and other application teams

Skills & Knowledge
Qualification & Certifications6+ years of experience in software development Good Problem solving & analytical skills. Good communication skills BE or any equivalent educational qualification in Computer Science background.

Primary Skills (Must Have)Proven strong programming experience in Java Technologies, preferably working on low latency, high throughput, globally distributed systems. Expertise in Spring framework Experience in AWS cloud environment Development and build tools (GIT, Jenkins, Maven, etc.)

Secondary Skills (Good to Have)Experience working within a financial institution, preferably Front Office IT, with exposure to the business. Experience in RDBMS database

USP of the RoleGood exposure to the Cash asset class domain and business stakeholders Work closely with technical architect in building next gen portfolio construction system * Cloud migration with high performing enterprise application and cost efficient
