Job Summary

As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase, within the Consumer & Community Banking in Digital Tech Business team, you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm\'s state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As an emerging member of a software engineering team, you execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role

Job Responsibilities \xe2\x80\x8b

• Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems
• Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages
• Demonstrated experience with Java 8/J2EE distributed application development, REST, micro services, Spring Boot
• Experience in modern SDLC practices such as Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment
• Our Stack: Java Spring, Hibernate, Kafka, IBM MQ, Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Control-M, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, PowerMock, JMeter, Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace, Jenkins, Sonar, Fortify, Black Duck, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence

\xe2\x80\x8b Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelors or Masters Degree - preferably in Computer Science
• Minimum 4+ years of applied hands-on programming/application development experience utilizing JAVA/J2EE,Spring Boot, REST, Micro Services, Cloud Native, Agile, DevOps and TDD.
• Excellent Core JAVA (Java8 Features )skills having deep experience in OOAD, Threads & Concurrency and Collections
• Experience working in Unix.
• Strong experience utilizing standalone Spring Framework integration
• Strong object oriented analysis and design skills (OOAD)
• Good No SQL/PL-SQL Skills (Cassandra/Oracle 12c Preferred) and Hibernate/JPA

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
• Exposure to cloud technologies
