Who we are looking for
We are looking for a skilled Java developer with 10+ years of experience in Microservices, AWS, Java, Spring Boot, SQL, Kafka, Spark(good to have) and Databricks(good to have). The ideal candidate should be proficient in developing Micro Service applications using Spring Boot with expertise in building Java-based server-side applications. Should be strong in SDLC life cycle, planning and execution. Should be willing to lead the.The role will provide opportunity to work in niche functional areas of Capital Markets, thus functional knowledge and experience in similar projects is highly desirable. This would be an Individual Contributor role.
What you will be responsible for
As a Senior Java Developer:

• Should be able to design/develop based on business requirements by effectively coordinating activities between business analysts, developers and testing team.
• Should demonstrate ownership, good analytical and quick learning capabilities
• Independently undertake critical development assignments across project areas.
• Collaborate with other roles/teams to deliver consistent and timely results with high quality
• Should have good working experience in Agile Scrum and CI/CD based projects
• Provides subject matter expertise in reviewing, analyzing, and resolving production issues
• Should possess good communication skills and should be able to work independently with minimal guidance
• Performance tuning
• Prepare Technical & functional design documents
• Implement best coding practices
• Mentor other team members

• Good understanding of Shell scripting and Linux

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• 12+ years' experience of developing enterprise-grade application using Java, Spring
• Fluent verbal & written English communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of software development
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Team player, detail oriented and self-motivated to drive work to proceed with minimal supervision
• Multiple tasking ability. Good time organizatizonal skills to manage project priorities
