This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain innovative trading and financial applications within a collaborative, high-performing engineering team. You will work on backend systems, APIs, and greenfield projects that process real-time market data and support critical trading functionalities. Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and trading platform features.
• Integrate real-time market and price data into applications to support trading and non-trading workflows.
• Implement order execution and trading functionalities in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance, while monitoring and troubleshooting production systems.
• Work closely with analysts, operators, and other teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Continuously improve processes, applications, and delivery through agile practices and feedback loops.
• Follow best practices in software engineering, including TDD, CI/CD, and code reviews.

Requirements

• 3-10 years of experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot in backend development.
• Proficiency in test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD).
• Experience with microservices architecture and API-first design.
• Knowledge of database design and management (MongoDB, JPA) is a plus.
• Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka) and monitoring/logging tools (Splunk) is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and curiosity in fintech and technology solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across global and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
