Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Development

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications. Build RESTful APIs and microservices. Implement clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.

Database & System Integration

Work with relational or NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.). Integrate applications with external systems and third-party APIs.

Performance & Quality

Debug, optimise, and enhance existing applications. Write unit tests and ensure code quality using tools like JUnit, Mockito, etc. Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical improvements.

Collaboration

Work closely with frontend developers, QA teams, and product owners. Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retros).

Strong expertise in

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in high-volume, transactional applications. Exposure to front-end frameworks (Angular/React) is a plus--not mandatory. Experience working in staff augmentation or client-driven environments. Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes is a bonus.
