Role description

JAVA Developer :



Roles & Responsibilities: o Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.) for products / scalable applications o Research and evaluate new software tools, utilities, and practices o Collaborate with multiple technical/functional teams for effective resolution of the problems o Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality products to our users. o Direct the development team in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications o Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite o Take ownership of technical delivery against project timelines and requirements o Mentor, support, and guide team members - including code reviews, best practices, pattern reviews Requirements / Qualifications o Bachelors' Degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience o Should have strong knowledge and hands on experience in JAVA / J2EE o Proficiency in Java, especially Core Java, collections, strong understanding of OOPS and design patterns. o Strong expertise in developing RESTful or other APIs using Spring boot. o Experience in building micro services with Spring boot / Spring framework o Experience on messaging framework - Kafka messaging system/JMS o Strong experience in database technologies, particularly SQL and NoSQL technologies. o Knowledge on Snowflake or Postgres for managing data streams. o Exposure using GIT, SVN, Maven o Experience in unit, integration, and performance testing, to ensure quality o Familiarity with cloud technologies especially with AWS. Nice to have: o Person should have worked in Agile Environment o Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Shift Timings: 1pm-10pm
