Business Unit Overview

Working as a full-time IT Software Engineer, you will be part of the Enterprise Search Team. You will be responsible for building scalable backend services and APIs that power intelligent search experiences across our platforms.

Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate search capabilities into enterprise applications. Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentoring junior developers. Work with data engineers and product teams to understand business requirements and translate them into
technical solutions.
Explore and adopt new technologies to improve development efficiency and product quality.

Required Position Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field. 3-5 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and system design. Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git). Solid problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Position Qualifications

Exposure to search technologies like Elasticsearch, Solr, or OpenSearch. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP). Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Understanding enterprise data integration and security best practices. * Good communication and collaboration skills.
