As a Java Backend Engineer at SISC, you will design and build large-scale backend systems, lead technical initiatives, and mentor engineers. You will play a key role in ensuring service reliability, scalability, and quality, while actively contributing to coding and technical problem-solving.

Role & Responsibilities

Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.

Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to implementation.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

Debug issues and provide fixes for live services.

Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Suggest improvements to system performance and reliability.

Requirements

6-8 years of backend development experience.

Strong expertise in Java 11+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, AWS.

Solid experience with distributed, high-volume systems.

Working knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra).

Good Debugging and Problem Solving skills

Exposure to CI/CD (Jenkins) and caching technologies is desirable.

Strong debugging and system troubleshooting skills.

Experience in payments system is a must.

Any Degree, Engineering Discipiline
