We are seeking a

Java Backend Developer

to join our engineering team and contribute to the design and development of robust backend architectures that power multiple mobile applications.

Role Summary:

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building server-side logic, designing APIs, managing databases, and integrating third-party services to ensure the backend is scalable, secure, and aligned with project goals. This role requires hands-on coding, architectural thinking, and collaborative problem-solving with frontend and mobile teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable

RESTful APIs

for mobile and web platforms. Build backend systems using

Spring Boot (Java/Kotlin)

or

Node.js (Express/NestJS)

. Integrate and manage

databases

including

MongoDB

and

MySQL/PostgreSQL

. Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2, Firebase Auth). Integrate third-party APIs such as

Razorpay, Twilio/Agora, Firebase Cloud Messaging, AWS S3

. Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and fault tolerance. Work closely with frontend and mobile app teams to support API integration. Maintain technical documentation, unit tests, and ensure code quality. Collaborate with DevOps for deployment, CI/CD, and environment management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum

3 years of experience

in backend development. Strong proficiency in

Java with Spring Boot

or

Node.js with Express/NestJS

. Hands-on experience with

MongoDB

,

MySQL

, or

PostgreSQL

. Good understanding of

API security

,

rate limiting

,

role-based access control

, and

WebSocket/STOMP

. Working knowledge of

AWS services

(EC2, S3, Lambda) and

CI/CD pipelines

(GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Familiarity with Git version control and Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with

real-time communication systems

(chat, video call). Understanding of

multi-tenant

architecture and

microservices

. Exposure to

GraphQL

is a plus. Familiarity with
