Job Title : Java Backend Developer (Spring Boot + SQL)

Location : Mysuru, Karnataka.

About the Role : We are looking for a skilled and self-driven Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot and SQL who can independently handle end-to-end backend development -- from database design to API integration and server-side security. You'll be part of a dynamic product team working on high-performance, scalable, and secure systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.

Create efficient and optimized database schemas, queries, and stored procedures (MySQL / PostgreSQL).

Implement authentication, authorization, and data security best practices.

Manage server configuration, deployment, and performance optimization.

Collaborate closely with front-end developers and product managers to deliver robust features.

Debug, test, and maintain application performance, reliability, and scalability.

Take full ownership of assigned modules -- from design to production deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and JPA/Hibernate.

Proficiency in SQL and relational database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).

Good understanding of REST API design principles and microservices architecture.

Experience with API authentication (JWT, OAuth2) and server-side security practices.

Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS / DigitalOcean / GCP) or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of deliverables.

Good to Have :

Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or Linux server management.

Experience integrating third-party APIs or payment gateways.

Understanding of caching, load balancing, and performance tuning.
