About this Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Developer with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, and open-source technologies to lead the development and maintenance of automation frameworks. This role involves working across multiple teams, driving framework transitions, and delivering robust automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in CI/CD, cloud platforms, containerisation, and a strong understanding of test strategies and stakeholder management. The position is based in Pune, Bangalore, or Ahmedabad and may require occasional travel.
What you'll do

• Lead the development and maintenance of automation frameworks used by multiple teams.
• Drive framework transition programmes and create delivery roadmaps.
• Develop features and enhancements in Java, Selenium, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Work with containerisation tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Integrate with cloud platforms such as AWS and manage infrastructure as code.
• Support legacy systems and agent-facing applications, including those with German-language interfaces.
• Provide guidance and training to less technical users.
• Continuously improve systems through refactoring and innovation.

Who you are
Who you are

• 7-10 years of relevant experience in automation development.
• Proficient in Java, Selenium, JavaScript, and test automation tools.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, GitOps, and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL, Oracle), REST/SOAP APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Demonstrated ability to work in diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to engage with German-language documentation and interfaces.
• Graduate or postgraduate in a technical stream (preferably Engineering).
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a sense of ownership and initiative.
