Job Description

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

• 8+ years of IT experience in analysis, design, development, documentation, implementing and testing of software systems in Java, J2EE and Internet technologies.
• Experience in Spring MVC, Spring Boot ,Kafka,Spark.
• Build automation tools and experience in CI/CD pipeline software.
• Strong Knowledge on Application Development using Software Development Life Cycle SDLC using various methodologies like Agile/Scrum.
• Experience in implementing Java EE design patterns such as MVC, Singleton, Session Facade, DAO, DTO, and Business Delegate in the development of Multi-Tier distributed Enterprise Applications.
• Good experience in developing REST,SOAP Web Services and Microservices.
• Deep understanding of SQL, HQL, relational databases, normalization and tuning.
• Developing scripts to automate data extraction and processing.
• Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
• Conducting unit tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues.

Must have skills:

• Minimum 8 years exp in Java(core) 1.8 or above - Hands-on ,
• Hands on experience in Apache Spark - 2.x or 3.x with Java spark/pyspark, kafka,good knowledge of sql
• Bigdata ecosystem (Good understanding of Hadoop, preferable cloud era distribution)
• Good Data analysis and programing skills along with Unix shell scripting.
• Junit/Testing frameworks. Hive, Impala and Kafka experience.

Education:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
