Role Overview:

As a

Japanese Manga Translator

, you'll be responsible for translating original Japanese manga editions into high-quality, culturally sensitive English. You will help maintain the author's tone, humor, and emotional impact while ensuring the English version resonates with readers.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate manga scripts and dialogue from

Japanese to English

. Collaborate with editors to ensure tone, context, and cultural nuances are preserved. Review and revise existing translations for quality improvement. Research idioms, references, and cultural expressions to enhance localization. Work closely with the production team to meet

tight publishing deadlines

.

Required Qualifications:

Proficiency in Japanese language with

JLPT N2 or N3 certification

. Exceptional grasp of written English, grammar, and cultural fluency.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in manga, anime, light novel, or book translation. Background in creative writing or localization. Ability to work under pressure and meet publication timelines.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
