We are seeking a skilled Storage Engineer with proficiency in the Japanese language to support enterprise-level storage infrastructure and collaborate with Japanese-speaking clients and teams. The role involves managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing storage systems while ensuring high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Perform storage provisioning, data migration, replication, and backup configuration.
Monitor storage performance, capacity, and health across multi-site environments.
Provide Level 1/2/3 support for complex storage issues.
Communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking stakeholders, translating technical requirements as needed.
Maintain technical documentation in both English and Japanese.
Collaborate with system, backup, and cloud teams for integrated operations.
Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and organizational standards.
Required Skills :
Should have a knowledge on storage administration.
Strong understanding of SAN/NAS protocols, SnapMirror, SnapVault, CIFS/NFS, iSCSI.
Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher) - verbal and written.
Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Python) and automation tools.
Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and incident/problem management.
