Prepare and present authentic Japanese dishes including sushi, sashimi, tempura, ramen, robatayaki, and other specialties.
Ensure consistency, quality, and authenticity of flavors in all menu items.
Innovate and develop new Japanese dishes in line with current culinary trends and guest preferences.
Oversee food preparation, portioning, and presentation standards.
Maintain proper hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
Train and guide junior chefs and kitchen staff in Japanese cooking techniques.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan seasonal menus, promotions, and special events.
Monitor cost control and wastage while maintaining quality standards.
