Job Description

He/She will need to understand the technical design of the applications and work as a developer. Should have strong analytic and problem solving skills. Candidate should be good in various DataStage tools like Designer, manager, administrator. Should possess good oral and written communication skills . Should have temperament to learn and apply new things.
In addition it is good to have Installation and Configuration on ICP4D, Create Data Stage workflows/Jobs on ICP4D,Performance tuning, Troubleshooting and Debugging.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Very good knowledge of Teradata and In-depth knowledge of Teradata Utilities like Fastload, Multiload, Tpump, BTEQ, TPT
• Very good knowledge of Teradata GCFR Framework and Unix Shell Scripting
• Ability to write efficient SQL for complex requirement ,query building & exposure to query tuning
• Understanding of Normalization and De-normalization concept.
• Very good exposure to Data warehouse concepts and very good understanding of ETL methodology.
• Rich experience in scripting & developing a TD-DWH application
• Experience in objects /codes migration of from other database to Teradata.
• Expertise in Object management activities like Create objects database, tables, StoredProcedure,views
• Very good understanding of Scheduling tool and Deployment/Support Skills
• Expertise in developing complex dashboards, Visual Analytics , data modeling
• Expertise in TD setup and administration in a Linux environment
• Experience leading development projects
• Have good understanding on all the SDLC phases.
• Strong analytical skills and enjoys solving complex technical problems.
• Must be a strong team player/leader.
• Strong oral written and interpersonal skills for interacting and throughout all levels of the organization.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex business problems and technical solutions.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

10-15 years, Bangalore/Hyderabad/Chennai
Min 8 years in Teradata
Experience in Designing and Solutions
Has Experience in managing/ Leading a Team
Can join in September 2022
