Job Description
Works independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Applications Development. Possess sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialization to develop simple applications solutions. Second level professional with direct impact on results and outcome.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Required Skills:
- 4 - 6 years of IT experience
- In depth knowledge in OOPS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Big Data tech stack (Hive, HDFS, Sqoop, Spark, Scala, Impala)
- Strong working experience with SQL and Unix
- Knowledge in Python, PySpark is preferred, not mandatory
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Connectors, and Spark Streaming
- Knowledge of any ETL tool is a plus - Can be trained by CGI
- Jira, Bit Bucket
- Hive, Impala
- Domain knowledge in Banking
- Analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of Agile
