We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

ITSM Administrator

to join our Enterprise Applications team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing ITSM platforms to support global business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery, streamline workflows, and ensure system stability in a fast-paced product environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and support ITSM tools across modules such as

Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, Knowledge, CMDB

, etc. Design, configure, and maintain workflows, automation rules, notifications, and service catalogs. Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure high system availability. Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to gather requirements and implement ITSM solutions. Develop and optimize reports, dashboards, and SQL queries for operational insights and analytics. Maintain data integrity, security controls, and documentation for all system configurations. Participate in system upgrades, patching, release cycles, and regression testing. Support process improvements aligned with

ITIL best practices

and organizational goals. Identify opportunities for automation and drive efficiency across ITSM processes. Ensure compliance with governance, audit, and change management guidelines.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

1-2 years of hands-on experience

administering and supporting ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Freshservice, BMC Remedy, ManageEngine, or similar). Strong understanding of

ITIL framework

and ITSM processes. Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as

JavaScript, Python, Shell, or Java

(as applicable to platform customization). Strong SQL skills -- ability to write complex queries, joins, aggregations, and manage datasets. Solid understanding of database design concepts (normalization, indexing, relationships). Good knowledge of REST APIs, integrations, and web technologies (HTML/CSS). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
