Summary / Objective





The Position is responsible for all L&D initiatives, including design, procurement, delivery, and full administration of the L&D function for India CoE. The position will play a critical role in designing and implementing L&D needs of the organization. The role owner will play an instrumental role in conceptualizing and implementing L&D objectives. Ensuring that the mandatory training is coordinated, and records are fully up to date. This position will also assist with maintaining and monitoring the LMS, new hire onboarding, and orientation for our India CoE.

Excellent verbal/written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills and relationship building with the ability to connect quickly and authentically with people from a variety of different professional and cultural backgrounds. Experience working with people from different continents and time zones. Strong Instructional Design background, experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of employee training and development methodologies and instructional design. Ability to successfully lead training initiatives. Strong organization skills and managing multiple priorities. Ability to conduct classroom training and facilitate meetings. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.



Essential Functions




Guides hiring managers through new hire intake; documents onboarding/training requirements; schedules training orientations. Onboard and train new hires; act as guide through their first weeks and maintain relationship through ongoing check-ins. Creates and socializes onboarding collateral and instructional guides for managers and new hires, i.e., welcome videos, communication templates, schedules, orientations. Coordinates new hire orientations with cross-functional team leads. Gather information related to training needs through surveys, employee interviews, or consultations with managers. Design and create training manuals, online learning modules, and courses, and supporting course materials (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.) Create supporting course/training material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.) that enhance the learning experience. Decides on the criteria used to evaluate learner's performance and develop assessment instruments, i.e., exams, on-the-job training, and quizzes. Maintains project documentation and course folders. Lead in-person/virtual training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques. Monitors deadlines and ensures compliance with required workplace training. Maintains the accuracy, relevance, and instructional soundness of training procedures, course content, processes, and workflows. Conduct follow-up training assessments with managers and employees to determine training efficacy. Communicates results and recommend next steps. Administration of LMS System, Maintain system integrity and organization. Build curriculums and courses as per requirements. Maintains and tracks records of training and development activities, attendance, results of assessments and retraining requirements. Assist with promotion of employee engagement initiatives, employee recognition platform

Required Experience


7-to-10-year experience and exposure to similar role. Should have handled independent L&D programs, Able to translate complex topics into visual media A mature, proven team player, who also works well virtually & independently and can self-drive learning new tools and processes Strong with project management combined with creative energy to bring fresh ideas into product and training and delivery campaigns Experience using and administering learning management system technologies. Proficient in MS Office, Instructional software (Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, etc.), animation software (Go Animate)

Required Education


Bachelor's degree in any discipline PG / master's in human resource / Learning and Development from a recognized educational institute L&D Certification is an added advantage for the role.
