DGM- Internal Audit

Broad Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct and Facilitate IT/IS Audits (Internal & External):

Conduct independent audit testing for selected IT
General Controls (ITGC), application controls, cybersecurity practices, and infrastructure processes under the Internal Audit Plan.

Build and Internalize IT Audit Capabilities:

Perform sample testing across applications (e.g., T24, LOS, CRM, HRMS) and infrastructure elements (firewalls, routers, cloud-hosted services).

Information Security Review Support:

Review policies and controls under

ISO 27001

,

RBI cybersecurity framework

, and internal IS policies.

Risk Assessment and Governance Monitoring

: + Participate in risk assessments of IT processes and infrastructure.
+ Map key risks, control gaps, and improvement opportunities to influence the IT audit plan.

Documentation, Knowledge Management, and Compliance:

+ Maintain a structured repository of past IT/IS audit reports, system architecture diagrams, policies, and risk logs.
+ Document audit testing procedures, checklists, and results clearly and concisely.
+ Ensure audits align with regulatory guidelines (e.g., RBI Master Direction, IRDA norms, SEBI requirements, etc.)

Background and Skillset:

Bachelor's degree in

Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics

, or

related technical discipline

.

Preferred

: Postgraduate degree or diploma in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related fields.

Certifications (Preferred):

CISA

(Certified Information Systems Auditor) - completed or actively pursuing

ISO 27001:2013 Internal/Lead Auditor

Certifications in cybersecurity, data privacy, cloud auditing, or IT governance (e.g., COBIT, NIST, CEH) are added advantages 2-4 years of relevant experience in: + IT/IS audits
+ IT governance or compliance
+ Audit coordination with external/internal teams
Exposure to banking/ NBFC/ financial services environment preferred
