Job Description

Set up and operate arc welding equipment Fabricate and repair metal components Read and interpret technical drawings Maintain and clean welding equipment Cutting and positioning materials needed for welding projects, using a torch or other tools Inspecting welds for quality and defects, using tools such as microscopes Inspecting equipment for damage or defects, replacing parts as needed to maintain efficiency Reading and interpreting codes, symbols, and schematics to determine proper setup and procedures Installing and repairing welding equipment, such as torches and wire feeders, to ensure proper operation Operating welding equipment to weld or cut metal components or materials
