Job Description

Electrical Responsibilities

• Installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment, panels, and wiring systems.
• Troubleshooting electrical faults, short circuits, overload issues, and component failures.
• Performing preventive maintenance on motors, sensors, controllers, and electrical boards.
• Ensuring proper grounding, cable termination, and safety compliance.
• Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, SLDs, wiring layouts, and equipment manuals.
• Replacing faulty components such as relays, fuses, contactors, transformers, and power supplies.

Networking Responsibilities

• Installation and configuration of network devices: switches, routers, access points, IP cameras, biometric devices, and controllers.
• Laying and dressing of CAT6/FO cables, punching panels, terminating RJ-45 connectors.
• Testing network connectivity, IP configuration, and troubleshooting network issues.
• Working with LAN/WAN infrastructure, static IP assignment, and basic networking commands.
• Maintaining network rack organization, labelling, and documentation.
• Supporting integration of network-based systems such as access control, CCTV, and automation devices.

Mechanical Responsibilities

• Installation and alignment of mechanical assemblies such as gates, barriers, motors, hinges, and gear systems.
• Conducting mechanical repairs, lubrication, alignment checks, and replacing worn-out mechanical parts.
• Using tools like wrenches, torque tools, drills, grinders, and measuring instruments.
• Inspecting mechanical safety parameters, torque settings, and material wear.
• Assisting in fabrication work (mounting plates, brackets, supports) when required.

General Responsibilities

• Ensuring work compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Preparing service reports, maintenance logs, and material requirement sheets.
• Coordinating with site engineers, customers, and contractors for smooth project execution.
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedule.
• Managing tools, materials, and maintaining proper housekeeping at site.
• Supporting commissioning activities and system handover to the customer.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and wiring.
• Basic to intermediate networking knowledge (IP, cabling, device configuration).
• Understanding of mechanical systems and installation techniques.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow installation guides.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field.
• Fresher / 1-5 years of experience in electrical, networking, or mechanical maintenance/installation.
