Core responsibilities
? Installation: Install electrical systems and wiring in homes, offices, or industrial locations.
? Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to keep them functioning properly.
? Troubleshooting: Find and resolve wiring problems.
? Repair and Replacement: Locate and replace faulty electrical components.
? Safety and Compliance: Ensure all work complies with electrical safety regulations and local and national standards.
? Equipment Usage: Safely use a variety of electrical tools and equipment.
? Coordination: Work with other team members, engineers, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and complete tasks effectively.
Key skills and qualifications
? Technical Skills: A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
? Certification: An ITI certification in a relevant trade (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical) is often a requirement. Or Graduation Degree
? Reading: Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
? Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and fix issues.
? Attention to detail: Diligence in performing tasks and documenting work accurately.
? Teamwork and communication: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
