Role Details
The Corporate Linkages Expert will work closely with both corporates and students. The role involves understanding job market requirements and aligning them with students' skills.
The position includes mobilization and outreach--engaging with disadvantaged student groups in tier-3 and tier-4 colleges who are already undergoing training. The role involves delivering pre-placement support by creating awareness about formal sector jobs, industry expectations, and available career pathways.
On the corporate side, the individual will be responsible for building and managing recruiter relationships, understanding hiring needs, and ensuring placement opportunities for trained students. This includes organizing career fairs and recruitment drives and handling all logistical arrangements.
The role carries responsibility for achieving strong placement outcomes through career fairs, recruitment drives, and self-placements. Post-placement, the individual will support students to ensure smooth joining and sustained job retention, while also tracking joining and retention data.
The role encourages innovation and continuous improvement in program execution to build an effective youth employability ecosystem. It requires high motivation, adaptability, and a strong commitment to positive outcomes for young people entering the formal workforce.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience in student engagement (including internships or volunteer work)
Experience in sourcing job opportunities across different sectors
Strong academic background and/or notable extracurricular achievements
Graduate or postgraduate degree preferred
Ability to work in diverse teams and under pressure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
