Job Description

Execute daily/shift-wise inspections of mechanical assets (conveyors, rollers, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, fans, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, piping, valves). Perform lubrication, tightening, cleaning, alignment checks, and basic replacement of consumables as per PM schedules. Respond promptly to mechanical alarms/faults on the galvanizing line (entry/exit sections, furnace/annealing section, sink roll assemblies, air knives, recoiler/uncoiler). Assist technicians in troubleshooting, part replacement, and functional testing to restore equipment safely and quickly Maintain housekeeping and 5S in maintenance areas and line vicinity. Suggest improvements to PM tasks, checklists, and safe work methods.
