Role Overview

The ITI Fitter is responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and machinery. The role requires strong technical skills, precision, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities

Perform fitting and assembly operations on mechanical components Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance Identify mechanical faults and troubleshoot issues Operate hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures Maintain records of maintenance and repair work Assist senior technicians and engineers as required

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment Ability to read technical drawings Good understanding of workshop practices Basic welding, drilling, grinding, and fabrication skills Problem?solving and troubleshooting ability Attention to detail and precision Ability to work independently or in a team
