Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly diagrams to assemble hose components. Use hand, power, and specialized hydraulic tools (e.g., crimping machines) to cut, fit, and assemble hoses and fittings to exact specifications.
Quality Control & Testing:
Conduct quality checks and diagnostic tests on finished hose assemblies to ensure they meet performance, pressure ratings, and safety standards. Identify and report any discrepancies or defects in materials or assembly processes.
Maintenance & Repair:
Perform routine maintenance on assembly equipment and tools. Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues or malfunctions in existing hose systems during repairs or on-site work.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of all assembly, testing, and maintenance activities, including work orders, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and quality forms.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to all company Quality, Health, and Safety (QHS) policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment.
Collaboration:
Work effectively within a team and collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality assurance personnel to optimize processes and meet production deadlines.
