Hands-on experience in workshop and fabrication activities
Job Responsibilities:
Perform
drilling, tapping, marking, and measuring
operations as per specifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings
and follow dimensions accurately.
Carry out
mechanical assembly and fitting
of components and sub-assemblies.
Execute
fabrication work
, including cutting, shaping, and fitting of metal parts.
Perform
welding operations
(ARC/MIG as applicable) as per job requirements.
Handle
gas cutting
and related oxy-fuel operations safely and efficiently.
Use hand tools and power tools in compliance with safety standards.
Inspect finished components to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
Maintain workplace safety, housekeeping, and proper tool handling.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of
fitting tools and measuring instruments
Good understanding of
workshop practices and safety norms
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic knowledge of
welding symbols and fabrication processes
