An ITI Fitter in a manufacturing company is responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and mechanical equipment by reading blueprints, using tools, and adhering to safety standards. Key duties include fabricating parts, troubleshooting equipment, and performing quality inspections to ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime. Responsibilities

Assembly and Installation:

Assemble, install, and fit various machinery, parts, and industrial equipment according to technical specifications and blueprints.

Maintenance and Repair:

Conduct routine maintenance, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctioning equipment to prevent failures.

Fabrication:

Perform fitting operations such as cutting, shaping, and marking materials to create or modify parts as needed.

Technical Drawing Interpretation:

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly and work.

Quality Control:

Inspect fabricated components and assembled equipment to ensure they meet quality standards and are the correct size.

Safety Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating tools and working with machinery.

Collaboration:

Work with engineers and other production team members to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
Required Skills

Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices Good communication and teamwork skills Physical ability to perform the job, including lifting heavy objects
