Job Description

Assemble mechanical parts, systems, and machinery from technical drawings or specifications.

Install equipment and ensure proper alignment and fit.Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure operational efficiency.Diagnose faults and repair defective mechanical systems or components.Replace worn or damaged parts (bearings, shafts, seals, etc.)Operate hand tools and machines (drills, grinders & etc) as needed.Modify components by cutting, drilling, grinding, or welding.Check alignment, clearances, tolerances.Use precision instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, dial indicators).Conduct performance testing after installation.
