We are looking for an ITI Fitter to join our manufacturing facility in the mechanical assembly/maintenance department. The candidate will support mechanical fitting, assembly and basic maintenance tasks in a production environment.
Key Responsibility:
Assemble, install and align mechanical components and sub-assemblies as per engineering drawings and specifications.
Assist senior fitters in performing preventive maintenance on production equipment.
Perform basic troubleshooting of mechanical issues (bearings, couplings, shafts, fasteners).
Maintain tools, fixtures and ensure cleanliness and safety of work area.
Support production team to meet output and quality targets.
Mandatory skills:
Interpretation of mechanical drawings and basic measurement tools (vernier, micrometer).
Basic machine fitting skills (shaft alignment, coupling installation, bearing replacement).
Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, welding/fabrication support.
Ability to work under production environment; adhere to safety & housekeeping norms.
