Job Description

An Electronics/Electrical Technician with an ITI qualificationand 2-3 years of experience in PLC and machine panel wiring (up to 10 kW) is a skilled professional who handles the installation, wiring, and maintenance of control panels for industrial machinery. Their role includes tasks such as wiring motors, switches, and other components, as well as troubleshooting and repairing control panels to ensure operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:

PLC Programming:

You may be required to have strong knowledge of PLC programming, potentially including specific brands like Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Mitsubishi.

Machine Panel Wiring:

You will be responsible for the physical wiring of electrical and electronic components within machine control panels, including connections for motors, switches, and control systems.

Troubleshooting and Repair:

You'll identify and resolve issues with defective parts and control panels to ensure smooth operation of machinery.

Electrical Circuitry:

You will have a good understanding of electrical circuit preparation and be able to interpret electrical drawings for panel engineering and design.

Component Handling:

Experience with soldering and de-soldering various types of electrical and electronic components, including surface-mount devices (SMDs), is often required.

Qualifications:

An ITI qualification in electronics or electrical trades is the primary educational background for this role.
