Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Installation:

Install electrical systems, including wiring, light fixtures, circuit breakers, and other electrical equipment, adhering to relevant codes and standards.

Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve electrical issues and malfunctions, employing problem-solving skills and critical thinking to determine effective solutions.

Compliance:

Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Collaboration:

Work with other tradespeople and contractors to coordinate efforts on construction and renovation projects.

Safety:

Promote a safe working environment by following industry safety protocols and best practices, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training in electrical work is preferred. Valid electrician's license or certification as required by local regulations. Proven experience as an electrician, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components. Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
