Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, lighting, and control systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to ensure smooth operation. Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes. Perform routine inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. Repair or replace faulty electrical components such as circuit breakers, fuses, switches, and wiring. Work with tools and equipment such as multimeters, voltage testers, and power drills. Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and regulations. Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals on electrical projects. Provide cost estimates and timelines for electrical work as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as an electrician or in a similar role. Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with electrical codes and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments. Certification or license as per local regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience working with high-voltage and low-voltage systems. Knowledge of automation and control systems is a plus.
