Job Description

The ITI Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in the organization. The role includes troubleshooting, routine inspections, and ensuring safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation & Maintenance

Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Handle industrial electrical panels, switches, motors, and control systems. Install and service lighting systems, MCC panels, and distribution boards.

2. Troubleshooting & Repair

Diagnose electrical faults and repair breakdowns. Replace defective cables, switches, MCBs, fuses, and electrical parts. Test circuits using multi-meter and other testing tools.

3. Preventive Maintenance

Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems. Perform preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns. Maintain logs of maintenance work and reports.

4. Safety Compliance

Follow all electrical safety procedures and guidelines. Ensure proper earthing, insulation, and wiring standards. Report unsafe conditions immediately.

5. Equipment Handling

Operate electrical tools like drills, cutters, and testing instruments. Assist in installation of machines and production equipment. Support senior technicians during major maintenance work.

Skills Required

Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and safety rules. Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of motors, starters, and control panels. Ability to work independently and in a team.

Optional Skills (Preferred but Not Mandatory)

Experience with PLC panels and industrial automation. Knowledge of DG sets, transformers, and VFD drives. Experience in factory/plant electrical maintenance.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
