About the Project

JFKC is hiring

Italian freelance annotators

for an ongoing Search Relevance Annotation Project. This project focuses on evaluating how accurately e-commerce search engines return product results for specific user queries. Your inputs will directly help improve search algorithms for major global retail platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate the

relevance and accuracy

of product search results shown for specific user queries. Analyze tasks containing a

search query + product listing

, and rate the relevance based on guidelines. Use the provided context (query intent, category, marketplace rules) to make informed judgments. Review and compare outputs from different search engines/platforms. Follow detailed

annotation guidelines

to ensure consistent and high-quality labeling. Meet assigned productivity and quality targets.

Eligibility & Requirements

Native/Near-native

Italian language skills

. Strong comprehension skills and ability to interpret product listings, titles, and descriptions. Familiarity with

online shopping, e-commerce categories, and product types

. Good analytical ability and attention to detail. Ability to follow complex instructions precisely. Laptop/desktop with stable internet (mobile-only not allowed). Previous experience in

annotation, content evaluation, data labeling, or search relevance

is preferred but not mandatory.

Workload & Compensation

Flexible, project-based work (freelance). Payment per completed/approved task. Opportunity for long-term engagement depending on performance.
