Job Summary
We are seeking an accomplished
Italian & Continental Chef
for a 5-star luxury property who brings authenticity, finesse, and global culinary standards to the kitchen. The ideal candidate must be a
specialist in traditional Neapolitan pizza
, with hands-on expertise in wood-fired ovens, classic Italian recipes, and refined Continental cuisine.

for delivering elevated dining experiences aligned with luxury hospitality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and execute
authentic Italian cuisine
, including fresh pasta, risotto, antipasti, sauces, and desserts
Expertly craft traditional Neapolitan pizzas
(dough fermentation, hand stretching, topping balance, wood-fired baking)
Manage and operate
wood-fired / stone pizza ovens
with precision
Design and innovate
Italian & Continental menus
while respecting classic techniques
Maintain
5-star presentation, taste consistency, and portion control
Oversee kitchen hygiene, food safety, and HACCP compliance
Coordinate with Sous Chefs, Commis, and service teams for smooth operations
Control food cost, wastage, and inventory without compromising quality
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Italian culinary techniques
Ensure timely service during high-volume operations, events, and fine-dining hours
Required Skills & Expertise
Mandatory:
Proven expertise in
Neapolitan Pizza
(certification preferred but not mandatory)
Strong command over
Italian & Continental cuisine
Deep understanding of
Italian ingredients, olive oils, cheeses, herbs, and dough science
Experience with
wood-fired ovens and artisanal pizza dough fermentation
High standards of cleanliness, discipline, and kitchen organization
Ability to perform under pressure in a luxury hospitality environment
Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management (preferred)
Minimum
4-8 years of experience
in reputed hotels, fine-dining restaurants, or luxury resorts
Prior experience in a
5-star or premium hospitality brand
is highly desirable
