Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled

IT Technician

to handle the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems across our school. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of resolving technical issues efficiently to support our educational mission.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals (e.g., desktops, laptops, projectors, printers, and interactive whiteboards). Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including network connectivity problems, in a timely manner. Perform routine maintenance and updates on school IT systems to ensure optimal performance. Assist faculty and staff with technical support requests, including software setup and user account management. Set up and support classroom technology, such as smartboards, tablets, and learning management systems. Collaborate with the IT team to implement security protocols and ensure data protection. Maintain inventory of IT equipment and report on system performance or upgrades needed. Provide basic training to staff and students on using school technology effectively. Document technical issues and solutions for future reference. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in hardware and software installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace). Familiarity with networking basics (e.g., Wi-Fi, LAN, TCP/IP) and troubleshooting connectivity issues. Experience with educational technology (e.g., interactive whiteboards, learning management systems) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users. Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
