Role Summary

We are searching for a driven technical sales representative to join our dynamic team. The technical sales representative should have a clear understanding of the components of the products and the ability to demonstrate how they work. Your responsibilities will include establishing the needs of the customer and recommending and demonstrating products.
To be a successful technical sales representative, you should be able to develop an excellent rapport with your existing customers and source new clients. A top-notch technical sales representative should be knowledgeable about competing products and should have the ability to break down technical terminology to non-technical clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales and business development team in understanding client needs and propose technical solutions or alternatives when applicable.
  • Quarterback the sales process from due diligence to project estimation and closings, with close coordination with internal team members.
  • Develop sales presentations and project proposal decks to help win critical sales accounts.
  • Educate clients about our services and engagement models related to user experience design, software development, and project management.
  • Establishing the technical needs of the companies dealing in IoT solutions and suggesting appropriate services and products.
  • Work with clients to clarify requirements, and convey client requirements to design and project management teams.
  • Review and perform due diligence on project assumptions and estimation from internal development and software teams.
  • Draft master service agreements and statement of work for new clients and engagements.
  • Build and maintain client relationships including meeting periodically with clients or prospective clients.

Experience- 5+ years



Must have

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent
  • Good working knowledge of IoT solutions and the latest market trends
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience of working in IT business development or technical sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and is comfortable translating complex technical speak to simple English that can be understood by non-technical clients, or translate client requirements into technical specs understood by developers.
  • Possesses strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Someone who takes ownership of the sales process all the way to closing.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Team player with strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and resolve complex problems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to client and company supervisors.

Nice to have

  • Familiar with Public Cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of technologies involving mobile apps and web applications
  • Any sales or business development certifications would be a plus
