Key Responsibilities
POS & Retail Systems
Support and troubleshoot Oracle Retail POS applications (Xstore, Xcenter, Xenvironment).
Manage POS hardware, peripherals, and integrations (printers, scanners, cash drawers, pin pads).
Coordinate deployments, upgrades, testing, and patching across environments.
Infrastructure, Networking & Security
Support, maintain, and monitor applications hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Perform OCI environment maintenance, including uptime monitoring, performance health checks, patch coordination, and capacity oversight.
Monitor OCI logs, alerts, and system behavior to proactively identify risks and performance issues.
Manage firewalls, review firewall logs, and support security controls.
Create and manage VPN access for internal users and vendors.
Monitor internet uptime, latency, and bandwidth across locations.
Maintain basic domain/DNS management and access controls.
Support CCTV and camera monitoring systems.
Hardware & Store-Level Technology
Hands-on knowledge of hardware wiring, POS ports, and structured cabling.
Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for connectivity, failover, and troubleshooting.
ERP NetSuite Administration & Reporting
Manage NetSuite user access, roles, and permissions.
Customize NetSuite reports, saved searches, and dashboards for finance and operations.
Train internal teams on NetSuite features and reporting best practices.
Ensure data accuracy, reporting consistency, and cross-entity visibility.
Operations & Documentation
Submit and manage Oracle SRs as required.
Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and system documentation.
Participate in on-call support, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience.
5+ years supporting POS or retail technology environments.
Experience with cloud-hosted applications (OCI preferred).
Working knowledge of Oracle databases, Java/J2EE applications, and POS ecosystems.
Practical experience with firewalls, VPNs, log monitoring, and security fundamentals.
NetSuite administration and reporting experience.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Nice to Have
Scripting or automation experience.
Retail, grocery, warehouse, or restaurant systems background.
Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-location enterprises.
