Job Title: IT Systems & Infrastructure Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Systems & Infrastructure Administrator to

oversee and maintain our organizations on-premises IT infrastructure. This role

involves managing servers, network systems, and other in-house IT facilities to ensure

optimal performance, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong

background in system and network administration, with a hands-on approach to

problem-solving and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:

Server and Network Management: Oversee and maintain physical and virtualservers, configure network devices like routers, switches, and firewalls, and monitor network performance to ensure minimal downtime. System Administration: Administer and update operating systems (Windows/Linux), manage core services such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP, and implement regular system backups and disaster recovery plans. Security and Compliance: Implement best practices to secure IT infrastructure, monitor systems for vulnerabilities, apply necessary patches and updates, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. User Support and Training: Provide technical support to staff, resolve hardware/software issues, train users on new technologies and IT policies, and manage user accounts and access permissions. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and procedures, generate reports on system performance, security incidents, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role. Strong knowledge of network protocols, server hardware, and virtualization technologies. Familiarity with backup and recovery tools, and disaster recovery planning. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, CCNA, CompTIA Server+) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Hands-on experience in managing IT-infrastructure (Routers, Firewalls, etc.). Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V. Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash. Familiarity with monitoring tools and IT service management frameworks.

Pay: ?66,666.00 - ?83,333.00 per year
