We are looking for a skilled, committed, and hands-on
IT Administrator
who will ensure the smooth functioning of the institution's multi-campus IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have solid experience managing servers, firewalls, security tools, Wi-Fi networks, and user systems across Apple and Windows environments. A proactive approach, willingness to travel, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
Key Responsibilities1. Network & Server Infrastructure Management
Manage internet servers, firewall configurations, and network security appliances.
Perform routine monitoring of server health, bandwidth usage, and network performance across all campuses.
Administer network infrastructure including routers, switches, VPNs, access points, and campus-wide Wi-Fi systems.
Ensure reliable connectivity between campuses and troubleshoot connection failures promptly.
Maintain logs of server activities, firewall updates, and system diagnostics.
2. Operating Systems & Device Support
Provide expert support for
Windows
and
macOS
devices (desktops, laptops, tablets).
Install, configure, and maintain system software, OS updates, and productivity tools.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for staff, faculty, and administrative departments.
Manage peripheral devices such as printers, projectors, smart boards, biometric systems, and classroom tech.
3. Software Installation & Maintenance
Handle installation, licensing, updates, and configuration of all campus software applications.
Support ERP systems, LMS tools, antivirus solutions, and internal communication platforms.
Document installation procedures and maintain software inventory.
4. IT Security & Compliance
Monitor network and endpoint security to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
Maintain and update firewall rules, antivirus software, and security protocols.
Conduct periodic security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for data and systems.
5. Multi-Campus Coordination
Serve as the point of contact for IT operations across multiple campuses.
Coordinate with principals, admin teams, and faculty to address technology needs.
Ensure uniform implementation of IT policies, software, and security measures across all branches.
Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades or new installations at different locations.
6. On-Ground Support & Travel
Travel between campuses for maintenance, troubleshooting, system upgrades, and audits.
Provide hands-on support during events, examinations, or emergency technical issues.
Respond promptly to urgent IT-related calls, even after regular working hours if required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum
2-3 years of experience
in an IT support/administrator role (experience in schools/colleges preferred).
Strong expertise in managing
internet servers
,
firewalls
, and
network infrastructure
.
Hands-on working knowledge of both
Apple (macOS)
and
Windows
operating systems.
Experience with Wi-Fi setups, network troubleshooting, and basic cabling.
Proficiency in installing and configuring software applications.
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently and efficiently.
Strong communication, coordination skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Hardworking, proactive, disciplined, and willing to travel frequently.
