The IT Support Executive will be responsible for providing technical assistance and day-to-day support to employees across the organization. The role includes maintaining computer systems, networks, biometric devices, internet connectivity, printers, and other IT infrastructure to ensure smooth operations at all office locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi routers, and internet connectivity across offices.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for maintenance and repair of IT equipment.
Support and manage biometric attendance devices and CCTV systems.
Maintain inventory of IT assets, software licenses, and accessories.
Perform regular system updates, backups, and security checks.
Set up new user accounts, email IDs, and access permissions as per company policy.
Provide technical assistance during meetings, presentations, and video conferences.
Ensure data security and adherence to IT policies.
Document issues and solutions for future reference and reporting.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Experience:
1-3 years of relevant IT support experience.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and networking fundamentals.
Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and antivirus systems.
Basic knowledge of server management is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
Strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision.
